Criteria:

Female resident of the Rockford area who has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and has successfully completed at least three full years of work experience, community service or a combination of both. Applicants with non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Recipients of the Athena Award and their families are not eligible to apply.

The review committee will consider the following criteria:

• Educational goals
• Professional goals
• Community service
• Financial need
• Intended use of scholarship funds
• Tireless devotion to the pursuit of higher education despite obstacles

To apply for this scholarship, you must complete an online application and submit a packet of additional materials in hard copy.  Both of these components MUST be RECEIVED by the March 15th deadline. Incomplete and late applications will not be accepted.
