Margaret T. Craig Community Service Scholarship

Purpose: Created from a bequest from Margaret T. Craig to reward, promote and encourage youth to be involved in their community.

Criteria:

High school graduate under the age of 23 or a graduating senior with a permanent address in Winnebago County planning to pursue a two or four-year degree at an accredited college, university or trade school who demonstrates, through their community involvement, a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for people in their school, community and country. Minimum GPA of 2.75. Students may reapply for this scholarship in subsequent years.

Deadline March 1

Application Instructions:

To apply for this scholarship, you must complete an online application and submit a packet of additional materials in hard copy. Both of these components MUST be RECEIVED by the March 1st deadline.

The scholarship packet requires your school counselor, registrar or principal to verify your academic information so be sure to allow sufficient time to submit the application. Incomplete and late applications will not be accepted.
