CFNIL President Jon Bates will be presenting “Collective Impact: Accelerating Social Change Through More Structured Collaborations” on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the Nordlof Center in Rockford. This event is part of the Transform Rockford Community Conversation series.

Collective Impact occurs when multiple organizations agree to solve a specific social problem using a common agenda, aligning their efforts and creating a uniform way to measure progress toward a common goal. Learn more about what collective impact is and why collective impact thinking is useful in transformative efforts.

Bates will be discussing the five conditions for Collective Impact and how it can be used to address complex social problems.

The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to register.
