Happy Founder's Day, Alpha Kappa Alpha!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated is the first and oldest sorority for African American females, and today celebrates the 113th anniversary of their founding. This year AKA has even more to celebrate as AKA Sister Kamala Harris is our Vice President Elect!

CFNIL is proud to administer three scholarships with direct ties to AKA: the Pi Gamma Omega/AKA and Annie and Oscar Blackwell Scholarships, provided and supported by the local AKA chapter (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Pi Gamma Omega), and the Dr. Constance L. Goode Memorial Scholarship, established in honor of prominent Rockford educator, civil rights activist, and AKA Sister Connie Goode.
