WOTM Ruthann Gaston Women in Engineering Scholarship

Today Women of Today’s Manufacturing (WOTM) announced the establishment of a new scholarship with the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, with the purpose of supporting women pursuing a degree in engineering. The WOTM Ruthann Gaston Women in Engineering Scholarship fund will award scholarships to female students enrolled in the NIU Engineering at RVC program. WOTM is working to grow the principal of the fund with the goal of awarding its first scholarship in spring 2020.

Ruthann Gaston has volunteered with WOTM since its founding in 2003 and has been extensively involved in its activities, including the administration of WOTM’s existing scholarship.

WOTM is a not-for-profit networking organization for professionals who are employed in, or serve, manufacturing in the Greater Rockford Area. The group is open to men, women, and young professionals, and offers a unique approach to networking and professional development with a strong focus on strengthening our scholarship program.
